I've been to las vegas, but im not sure if the stores we have here (pacsun, forever21, wetseal,etc) are in that area. well, i never saw it, so oh well. im sure if you go through the malls, or the big hotels, there are always clothing stores! i remember walking through the venetian or mgm, or somewhere, and they had victoria secret and more. :)

Does anyone know where I can take my son for his vaccinations in Las VEgas Nevada.. He is one shot behind and I have to have it done before he can go back to school. I do not have Ins. at the moment. I would really like to NOT have to take him to the Health clinic to have this done. With the flu and the h1n1 going around I don't want to have to sit there all day and expose him to that. I know there are places in town that will do it for 25-35 dollars. I am just not sure where. PLEASE does anyone know of any place I can take him?? THANK YOU!!!

What is general opinion of University of Nevada - las vegas? we know how princeton and harvard are viewed and Penn state too - but what is the overall opinion of University of Nevada - vegas? is it looked at as a joke? are they serious about academics as other schools.....i don't want my MA degree to be a joke! Glen - if u had half a brain, I never said Penn State was an Ivy League, I said everyone knows those 3 schools and how to ASSOCIATE them aka well-known reputations througout the collegiate envrion.... (Penn is known for their athletics, partying, etc, in case u didn't know. Nice work brainiac.....

UNLV is considered just another one of those middling schools. Not all that prestigious, but not crap either. It's a legit school so no one will think your masters degree will be a joke (that's usually reserved for online schools). However, unless your masters degree is in a program that UNLV is especially known for in the industry, you'll just get the regular respect of having finished a masters. None of the extra prestige at having done it at a famous school like Harvard. As long as you are in Nevada, and particularly Vegas, UNLV will have some prestige since it's the "big" school in town. It's an interesting phenomenon I've noticed about fairly isolated cities. If you go to the "big" school in town, then your school gets more prestige than it would if you were in another town with "bigger" schools around. Same thing happens up in Reno. Going to UN Reno is pretty respected by locals until you cross the CA border and run into UC Davis' sphere of influence.

either be homeschool ed or u gonna have to stay back for two yrs. u have no choice even if u do 8-10classes per yr. including any extra thats no way u can catch up!

Pleace don't say MOW LAWN, WASH WINDOWS, AND BABY SIT. I know all that...but I actually want a job at a store. Do you have any ideas where they would hire me or something?

Eons ago, when i was 14 I got my first job through the city of Los Angeles summer job program, perhaps the city of Las Vegas has a similar program. Also you'll need a work permit. Here's the link to where to get one: http://www.accessclarkcounty.com/depts/juvenile_justice_services/Pages/wrk_permits.aspx This page has all the requirements and hours you would be allowed to work, etc. I would get the permit, then just start filling out applications. Hi, I just saw that las vegas was one of the most searched places to live on yahoo.com (or something like that). I'm just wanted an idea of how old you are and why you want to move to las vegas? I'm 15 and its really not that exiciting (for me at least not being the drinking age) sence they got rid of Wet 'N Wild because a freeway company bought the land. Most of the henderson area has a lot of drug influences on kids too (I live in the henderson area so I'm not sure about others). Its not the most safe place to ride a bike to and from places. But if your are moving down here Green Valley High School is one of the best!

Hi, I just saw that las vegas was one of the most searched places to live on yahoo.com (or something like that). I'm just wanted an idea of how old you are and why you want to move to las vegas? I'm 15 and its really not that exiciting (for me at least not being the drinking age) sence they got rid of Wet 'N Wild because a freeway company bought the land. Most of the henderson area has a lot of drug influences on kids too (I live in the henderson area so I'm not sure about others). Its not the most safe place to ride a bike to and from places. But if your are moving down here Green Valley High School is one of the best!

Well, I'm not sure if I would want to live in vegas, but when i finish high school, im travelling for a few years, and vegas is definetly on my list. Sorry if thats no help haha.

Hi. I'm 15 years old too. I live in Malibu, California (in Los Angeles County) and I've visited Las Vegas once at the Bellagio Hotel. To have fun, I'm guessing you have to be 21...my parents went there and played poker or whatever in the casinos and it was boring for me since I couldn't really do anything...

Hi, I'm planning to apply to UNLV in fall 2010. I have a GPA of 3.4 and by the time I graduate HS, I will have 28.5 credits completed. Any opinions or suggestions on the school? Thanks.

this is an impossible to answer question. If it is meant toward the realms of athletics or research then i would say no. If your question was aimed at whether it would be a good school academically then that depends. What is your intended area of study? Is your bachelors terminal or will you continue into grad school or beyond? Is your final choice of profession in academia or in the regular world? Are you planning on staying in the same place all your life? (if so and it is near WSU then i would expect that you would not experience any problems, if you wanted to go to Law School at a tier 1 or wanted a job at a New York co. on graduating then i would say that it is a very poor idea to go to this school

I heard john robert powers frauds a lot of people, so i eliminate that from my list. Well i really want a school or academy that will actually teach me, and will actually get me some where! i would prefer an acting school thats "affordable", but if not then oh well. pleaseee help me, thank you :)
